Bring #MoreNature into your world.
The Slate Vase with its handcrafted shape, unique stone texture & colours, brings the tactile touch of nature within easy reach. The dragonfly design is engraved into the stone surface.
Each piece of raw SLATE is carefully handpicked for its quality and durability. Then undergoes a rigorous process of being hammered, shaped and drilled. – The result is a sturdy artisan piece, crafted with love and care.
As every vase is a one-off, please know it cannot be recreated.
(The photos with a black rectangle under the vase is to help visually indicate size. The black area is a standard A4 sized page measuring 297mm x 21mm / 11.75 x 8.25 inches)
From Noosa, Australia.
SIZE - SMALL:
- The SMALL sized vases suit shorter and smaller arrangements.
They are fantastic for single or few stems;
Many customers also use this size for small bunches of herbs in the kitchen.
- STANDARD hole in slate and 38 mm Kenzan (spikes).
- SMALL water reservoir under slate (11cm diameter)
ETCHED DESIGN – DRAGONFLY:
The design is carved into the stone surface (via a handcrafted process - no computers or lasers), inked for increased definition and then sealed.
The DRAGONFLY is one of our most popular etched designs.
Dragonfly symbolism changes with each culture. The main themes are renewal, positive force and the power of life in general. Also, as a creature of the wind, the dragonfly frequently represents change. The animal symbolism of a dragonfly is associated with good luck, prosperity, swiftness, strength, peace, purity and harmony.
