THE SLATE VASE CONCEPT:
This artistic product offers a wonderfully low-maintenance way to have longer-lasting arrangements. The shallow profile concept is based on an Ikebana-style vase from Japan - with our unique feature of natural stone.
This vase concept allows approx. 30% longer life for your cut flowers/greenery.
Less soaking, cleaner water = longer lifespan. Happier stems, happier you!
HOW TO USE:
THE NATURAL STONE:
The addition of SLATE stone is our interpretation of the ikebana-style vase.
Individual sections of raw slate pieces are carefully handpicked for quality and durability. They undergo a rigorous process of being hammered, shaped, drilled, scrubbed clean, sealed, and finally assembled into a functional vase.
The result is a sturdy artisan piece with expected use for many years to come.
SIZE – LARGE:
- STANDARD hole in slate and 38 mm Kenzan (spikes).
- LARGE water reservoir under slate (17cm diameter)
The LARGE-sized vases are versatile and can display short, medium and tall arrangements.
This vase can add that natural touch to any decor. It is lovely as a table centrepiece and with shorter stems, easily allows for dinner table conversation.
The large size also has stability (with a wide 17cm saucer underneath) and handles often tricky top-heavy flowers (e.g. Birds of Paradise) with ease.
Note: If a stem droops over time, it is simple to trim stem(s) shorter or use a supporting branch.
